| CHRISTMAS
IN JULY
Co-Authored
by Harris Hollin

Christmas in July is the
story of a forgotten battle in Korea, told 50 years later by 20 of
those who fought it. They left for war, as boys, from all parts of
our country. They returned home as men, changed forever. The telling
of this story has released many of these old soldiers from the nightmares
that plagued them all these years, and it has revitalized them as
they recall and relive their youth. The reader "goes back"
with them on patrols in pitch black nights, listening to every sound,
and is with them in their trenches as they fight this critically important,
though forgotten, battle to beat back hordes of advancing Chinese
troops in what was to become, until recently, a generally "forgotten
war." Not previously told, this is a moving story of fear and
courage related by those who knew it best. Not previously told, this
is a moving story of fear and courage related by those who knew it
best - and lived it day by day.
In brief commentaries about their lives
since orea, these men of greatly diverse backgrounds, display the
same courage, commitment and American spirit they showed 50 years
ago.
Christmas in July provides rarely seen data intended to preserve a
basis for future historians and other writers to create an authentic
voice.

TESTIMONIALS
"I am honored to have been the architect of the Korean War Memorial
and proud to know one of the GI's in Christmas in July who is an acquaintance
from our city of Barre, Vermont."
Frank C. Gaylord
Architect, Korean War Memorial

"The young men in this story exemplify the spirit of answering
one's call to serve their country. They were ordinary boys who became
extraordinary men much sooner than they anticipated. In this Christmas
Hill battle account, they describe unforgettable memories of horror
and terror. As boys, they proved they could become the men who defended
our nation's honor."
Brig. Gen.(ret) Alan H. Noyes

"50 years ago in Korea, while we fought together in the fierce
battle for Christmas Hill, most of us did not know each other, yet
our lives were in each other's hands. At last, through Christmas in
July, we have met, and I feel privileged to have served beside these
courageous Americans." Harris Hollin

THE
POWER OF HONOR
by Harris Hollin
with Adrienne Huston Griffin

"Harris Hollin has
lived a life that is successful in all the richly textured meanings
of that word. His story is engagingly and instructively told in The
Power of Honor," an autobiography that traces a remarkable life."
Sheldon Hackney
President Emeritus, University of Pennsylvania

"The Power of Honor opens a window into the life of an extraordinary
individual and a true American. I am so proud to represent Harris
in Congress."
E. Clay Shaw, Jr.
Member of Congress

"When I was 20, I went to work for Harris Hollin at Lemmon Company
in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. Because of the college tuition program
he put in place, I was able to get my bachelor's degree. He played
an important role in my life; he showed the impact that one person
can have, and that a small company can compete successfully with the
giants. Harris transformed Lemmon from a sleepy little regional company
into a dynamic mainstream pharmaceutical company with national and
international reach. The Power of Honor shows he is very much that
same man."
Barry R. Edwards
Co-CEO, IMPAX Laboratories.

"Harris is an American hero. The Power of Honor describes an
incident [in the Korean War] when the position of my men and myself,
Hill 1220, was about to be overrun by the enemy. I called headquarters
asking them to drop artillery fire to cover us - but they didn't have
sufficient ammunition. Hearing my call, and though Harris and his
men on Hill 931 were themselves under serious attack, he focused Quad-50
fire over my position and raked attacking enemy troops. With our combined
fire, Hill 1220 was never taken. We each were awarded the Bronze Star."
Ray Kalil
Entrepreneur

"I always knew Harris is one-of-a-kind, with extraordinary abilities
- and here are the colorful details of his life."
Colin Gabriel
Author, How to Sell Your Business And Get What You Want !

"Harris Hollin is a devoted Jew, a proud American and deeply
loving family man. He reaches out to people in the tradition of "tikkun
olam," a saying of our sages that instructs us to continuously
try to "repair" injustices. A self-made man who through
hard work reached the top, he never forgot where he came from. This
a book worth reading; it is instructive and very interesting."
Asher Naim
Israeli Ambassador (ret.) to the United Nations

"The Fragile X community is indeed blessed that Harris Hollin
has brought his dedication and drive to bear on the quest for a cure
for Fragile X Syndrome, which afflicts his grandson, Matthew. Like
so many other times in his life, when Harris sets his sight on a goal,
success is not a matter of "if" - it's only a matter of
"when." In 1999, he established Conquer Fragile X Foundation
to fund research to find a cure for Fragile X. I've no doubt that
with Harris on the job, "conquering" Fragile X is within
our grasp. The Power of Honor is an inspiring read well worth the
time."
Jeffrey S. Cohen
Past President, The National Fragile X Foundation
